A Story of Ontario’s Egg Farming

The Story of the Mullet Koop Family

For the Mullet Koop family, egg farming isn’t just a job, it’s a way of life that has been passed down for over six generations. Although things look a bit different than the early days of the farm decades ago, the family still honours the tradition, dedication and deep commitment to providing fresh, high-quality eggs to Ontario families.

Growing up on the farm, each generation has played a role in its success. From early mornings gathering eggs to late nights caring for their hens, the Mullet Koop family has worked together, ensuring their farm continues to thrive. This dedication extends beyond their own family, it’s about feeding their community and upholding the values instilled in them by those who came before.

Their story is one of perseverance, hard work, and love for what they do, a true reflection of the generational commitment that defines egg farming in Ontario.
