The Ottens Family: Providing the best care for their birds

Brothers Bob and Dave Ottens have been farmers since the day they were born. Both grew up on a dairy farm and became egg farmers in 2005.

“Farming was the root of our beginnings; I couldn’t image not being in the farming industry,” says Bob.

The two brothers house their hens in free run and free range systems and decided to do so to give consumers choice in grocery store when they purchase eggs. The focus of everything they do is what’s best for their birds.

As Dave likes to say, “I enjoy eating eggs from our farm knowing it’s safe, nutritious and healthy. I enjoy being an egg farmer because there’s no better place to raise a family than on the farm.”
