Egg Farmers Rocks & Rings presented by Curling Canada Celebrates 10th Anniversary Back Where It All Began

Canada’s acclaimed elementary school curling program is celebrating 10 years of getting kids curling. With support from Curling Canada and Canadian egg farmers, Rocks & Rings has visited schools in all Canadian provinces and territories, introducing the sport to more than 1.5 million students over the past 10 years.

In January 2009 Rocks & Rings began at Three Valleys Public School in Toronto, Ontario. Ten years later we revisited Three Valleys, celebrating a decade of bringing curling education and activities to students in their own school gym.

“The success of Rocks & Rings over the past 10 years has ensured students across Canada have had fun discovering the sport of curling,” said Chad McMullan, owner of Rock Solid Productions Inc. “We’re proud to create new athletes as students across the country are inspired to take up the sport. We look forward to sharing curling with Canadian youth for decades to come.”

Canadian egg farmers are proud to celebrate this important milestone with Rock Solid Productions. “We are excited to join Rocks & Rings to celebrate their 10th anniversary,” said Scott Graham, Chair of Egg Farmers of Ontario. “For 10 years Rocks & Rings has been getting students active and we are happy to be part of a program that supports and encourages a healthy lifestyle.”

As we celebrate 10 years of curling success, Rocks & Rings is looking forward to continuing to grow curling throughout the country with the support of Curling Canada. “We’ve enjoyed being a part of the program’s growth over the past 10 years and are certainly excited to see the program celebrate 10 years,” said Brodie Bazinet, Curling Canada Foundation Manager. “Developing curling at a grassroots level is a focus of Curling Canada and we are happy to see students all over Canada engaged in the sport of curling.”
