Egg Farmers of Ontario's First-Ever Skillet Skate

On February 24th, Egg Farmers of Ontario (EFO) and the Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) collaborated to organize a fun-filled skating event called the Skillet Skate. The event was aimed at children from minor hockey teams and families of Ontario egg and pullet farms. 

Third-generation egg farmer, Julie Wynette, kicked off the event. Then, Tyler McGregor, captain of Canada’s National Para Ice Hockey Team, led the kids through drills and scrimmages. Thanks to Tyler's help, every kid had the opportunity to learn from the two-time World Champion and three-time Paralympic medalist. 

At the end of the night, one lucky winner went home with a signed jersey from Tyler.
