Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bow, stir together mushrooms, chives, red pepper, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Line each greased muffin tin cup with turkey bacon slices and place a heaping tablespoon of the veggie mixture in the bottom of each cup. Place in the oven and bake for 10 minutes.
Remove from the oven and crack one egg into each muffin cup until all 12 eggs have been used. Return the tray to the oven and cook for another 15 minutes. Reserve some extra sliced chives to sprinkle on top and enjoy right away.
